I am the founder and President of ISP Painting, Inc. and have dedicated myself to growing ISP from a local painting company into one of the largest and most reputable national painting companies serving the US, Canada & Puerto Rico. I have enjoyed the challenge of being an entrepreneur for more than half of my life. Most of my knowledge in the painting industry is from hands-on experience, learning from my customers, employees, strategic partners and my father, who was also an entrepreneur. I spent a significant amount of time with him at trade shows and in his home office learning about running a business. I graduated in 1989 from Illinois State University with a B.S. degree in Speech Communication and Psychology. In 1991, I started Illinois State Painters, a Chicagoland residential painting company out of my parents’ home office.
In 2003, Illinois State Painters transitioned from a local residential painting company to a national commercial painting company, thanks to a local customer with national ties. ISP Painting was formed because of a need that I wanted to fill in the painting industry. “If this customer needs it, what about all the other customers that have multi-locations across the country?”
During my career, I have been the creative force behind the development of our proprietary, online project management system, the Extranet, which led ISP to be the only national painting company with this tool. I led the charge on continual improvements to meet our company and customers’ needs. I also pioneered our unique business model by partnering with local quality professionals throughout North America and established universally beneficial relationships across the Strategic Partner network for unparalleled efficiency and effectiveness.
During my free time, I am busy with my family, maintaining a passionate commitment to the values that my parents, Dave and Char, shared with me. Outside of work, I enjoy watching my children grow into independent, confident young adults who are ready to take on the world. This is my greatest accomplishment in life.

As National Accounts Representative at ISP, I am responsible for growing, developing, maintaining, and managing the overall relationship with national accounts. I have been immersed in the professional painting industry for over 15 years, serving as Store Manager and Sales Representative for the Sherwin-Williams Company. During that time, I worked and lived in 3 different states, learning from each market and culture, and how they continuously affect the painting landscape.
I graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Advertising, from Kent State University in 2002. During my free time I enjoy traveling, golf, exploring the outdoors and anything sports related.

As the Partner Development Coordinator for ISP Painting Inc, I am responsible for the development of each Strategic Partner into a strong and united Strategic Partner Network across the USA, Canada provinces, and Puerto Rico. Within this role, I am a Survey Coordinator working closely with our Strategic Partners and Lead Estimator to ensure the timeliness and accuracy of surveys.
Before working for ISP Painting Inc, I was an Office administrator, Estimator, and Project Manager for a commercial and residential painting company. I gained so much knowledge from hands-on experience working with customers, employees, and vendors. After over 10 years at the company, I began working with ISP Painting Inc in my current role.
I graduated in 2014 with my Associates degree in Business Administrations. I returned to graduate in 2016 with my bachelor’s degree in Management. I remain current with Mobile Elevating Work Platform Operator Training (MEWP) certification, continue to gain knowledge from learning opportunities within OSHA Standards News releases & updates, Painting Contractors Association standards, and any other industry related education that would benefit my role within ISP Painting Inc and improve Strategic Partner development.
When not at ISP Painting Inc, I enjoy spending quality time with my family and pets, endlessly supporting my children and husband with their goals to success, and making time for nature with fun and exciting outdoor activities.

I earned my Bachelor’s in Accounting from DePaul University, my Masters in Accounting from the University of South Dakota, and am licensed as a CPA in Illinois. I’m a life-long learner and am always in pursuit of a new challenge and opportunity to learn and grow.
Outside of the office I enjoy spending time with my wife and two children outdoors whether it is hiking, camping, or otherwise enjoying all nature has to offer.
